Thinus Diedericks, chairperson of the Noordvaal Schools Rugby Association, confirmed that the organisation is aware of the incident and strongly condemns the behaviour. Diedericks also asked members of the public to refrain from further online commentary while the matter is under review.
Hoërskool Menlopark’s school governing body chairperson, Japie de Wet, said the school totally condemns and does not condone this type of conduct on or around sports fields. Police seize 95kg cocaine consignment valued at R28 million at OR Tambo International Airport
South African Police Service members, working with Customs officials and Menzies Aviation personnel, intercepted a 95-kilogram consignment of cocaine estimated to be worth R28 million at OR Tambo International Airport on Friday, 31 July 2026.
