On Saturday 2 May 2026, emergency services responded to a rollover crash off the N1 highway at Du Toitskloof Lodge near Rawsonville in the Western Cape.

The incident involved a single vehicle that rolled after leaving the roadway. Three people — two women and one man — sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.
