On Saturday 2 May 2026, emergency services responded to a rollover crash off the N1 highway at Du Toitskloof Lodge near Rawsonville in the Western Cape.
The incident involved a single vehicle that rolled after leaving the roadway. Three people — two women and one man — sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel. Two other occupants were critically injured. The driver and another passenger were among those transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
