Police and private security officials were pursuing three men travelling in a BMW. The suspects are wanted in connection with a series of crimes committed in the Upper Highway area.
The pursuit ended at the filling station, where a shootout broke out. One suspect was fatally shot during the exchange of gunfire.
A second suspect attempted to escape by jumping over a high wall but died after the fall.
The third suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services attended the incident and confirmed the circumstances of both deaths.
