Leeufontein, Limpopo – A tragic shooting at Mr Spark tavern in Leeufontein, near Marble Hall, claimed the life of a tavern owner and left four patrons injured on Tuesday, 22 April 2025. The incident, which occurred during a concert featuring Lekompo artist Tribby Wadi Bhozza, has sparked an ongoing police investigation.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen opened fire at the venue, targeting the tavern owner, who was fatally wounded. Four other individuals caught in the crossfire sustained injuries and were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The assailants fled the scene, and their motives remain unclear.
Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for the suspects, with authorities appealing to the public for information. A disturbing video circulating online captured the chaotic moments of the shooting, showing panicked patrons fleeing as gunshots rang out.
