MAOKENG/KROONSTAD – Eleven suspects were arrested on 18 March 2026 during a crime prevention operation conducted by the Fezile Dabi District Junior Management Core in the Maokeng and Kroonstad policing precincts.
The operation specifically focused on drug and alcohol abuse and related offences. All 11 suspects are expected to appear in the Maokeng and Kroonstad Magistrate’s Courts on various charges.
Authorities have stated that efforts to improve safety and tackle substance-related crime in local communities remain ongoing.
